Mr. Shen Che (China / Chairman of HPA 2011 Jury Panel)

Mr. Shen Che, founder and president of China Folklore Photographic Association, designer and driving force for Humanity Photo Awards, is also the president of World Folklore Photographers Association. Meanwhile, he was the executive of UN Pavilion in Expo Aichi and in UNESCO’ 60th Anniversary in 2005, as well as the UNESCO Week Pavilion in Expo Shanghai.






Mr. Xia Fang (China / Counselor to HPA2011 Jury Panel)

Mr. Xia Fang is the comment team leader and juror of HPA Jury Panel since 1998. He has been a professional photographer for over 40 years and is a researcher in photography in Tian Jin Art Research Institute now. He is a well published writer in the study of photography, with more than 40 research papers, accumulated more than 400,000 words. His study has influenced photography field of China in many ways.




Ms. Claudia Berg (Germany)

Ms. Claudia Berg is the manager of Picture-Editing Dept. in Welt am Sonntag which is the biggest Sunday newspaper in Germany. For over twenty years, she has been dealing with photos of art, culture, sport, tourism etc. Ms. Claudia Berg was among the international jury panel of HPA2006.







Mr. Dheeraj Paul (India)

Mr. Dheeraj Paul (1974, Delhi) was born in the family of skilled Indian professional photographers. Dheeraj has been working for over 19 years as an editorial & advertising photographer. He runs Stock Picture & Assignment Agency-: INDIA FOTO NEWS FEATURES. He is also teaching Advance Photography to Post Graduates students at the Jamia Millia Islamia University, Delhi. He was invited and chosen to be one of the top 100 photographers of the world to CLICK ART 2003 Singapore to attend “World’s Photographers Meet”.

Mr. Dheeraj Paul was among the international jury panel of HPA2009.



Mr. Matthew Kelly (The United Kingdom)

Mr. Matthew Kelly is a freelance photographer and also the intermediate photographer of The British Museum. He is in charge of Media Resource (China) of the London Education Committee. He has worked in Reuters, That’s Beijing,TIME, etc. and held exhibitions in London and Ireland.






Mr. Micah Parzen (United States of America)

Mr. Micah Parzen is the Executive Director of the San Diego Museum of Man. He got his doctor’s degree of anthropology in Case Western Reserve University.

Mr. Micah Parzen has been involved in extensive documentation of anthropological fieldwork for many years.






Mr. Glenn Hunt (Australia)

Mr. Glenn Hunt has worked in The Australian newspaper, National Geographic, Reuters-Washington, etc. since 1988. He is the founding director of Oculi and Obscura Photos. In 2003, he became the official photographer to Equitana, the largest and most prestigious Equine event of its type in the Southern Hemisphere. He won many international photographic awards and held exhibitions in many countries. His work has been collected by the State Library of NSW, The King George V building collection and various private collections. Mr. Glenn Hunt was the first prize winner of HPA2004 for Education, Recreation, Sports and Technology.



Mr. Suthep Kritsanavarin (Thailand)

As a well-known Photographer in Thailand, Mr. Suthep worked in photo agency and publishing house for many years and he cooperates with NGOs, international organizations (such as IUCN, TERRA), Open Society institution and UNHCR International Publications (Geographical magazine, CNN Traveler, New York Time, TIME magazines, International Herald Tribune, Aera and SOTOKOTO magazines) as photographer or photo director. He held exhibitions in Japan, Germany, France, etc. between 2004 and 2008. Mr. Suthep Kritsanavarin was the Grand Award winner of HPA2009 for Living and Production Custom.
