Letter of Invitation from HPA2013

All the winners of HPA2013 are warmly invited to attend the HPA2013 Award Ceremony, which will be held from June 20-23, 2014 in Beijing. We have been waiting for this day since the release of our Letter of Apology-An Open Letter to HPA Winners in November, 2013, where we promised to send out the invitation at least 45 days before the ceremony.

Currently the HPA committee is preparing and sending invitations to UNESCO officials, HPA international jury members, and all the winners in HPA2013, who are welcome to attend the award ceremony in your ethnic dress and with a folklore performance.

During the 4-day-event, CFPA Ten-year Plan (2013-2023), which is formulated in accordance with the UNESCO International Decade for the Rapprochement of Cultures, will be launched. Schedules for the next five sessions will be announced.

The 8th HPA will start a new journey and develop into an international event, an Olympics in international photographic community. Important events in the 8th HPA include award ceremony, exhibition of winning photos, Photography Forum organized by World Folklore Photographers’ Association, and the 2014 Conference of World Folklore Photographers’ Association, and a tour in Beijing.
